Katrina Rook-Slawski

Katrina Rook -Slawski was Born in city of Bydgoszcz, Poland. She received Fine Art Secondary School Diploma with Honours in Graphic Techniques.
In 1994 she moved to Toronto, Canada.
From 1999 to 2000 she attended George Brown College Web Page Publishing Foundation. For 14 years she worked as graphic designer, web designer and fine art artist. From 2010-2013 she attended Sheridan College, graduated with honours and received Interior Decorating Certificate.
From 2008 she started her transition from graphic design industry to interior design industry. In 2014 she became an Instructor for Continuing and Professional Studies at Sheridan College in Oakville teaching supportive courses for Interior Designers and Decorators. In 2016 she became an instructor at the Toronto Film School for Interior Decorating Program.
In the spring of 2015 she created winning Design featuring new Amiata Bath line and won a national 2015 Victoria + Albert Design Award.
In the summer of 2015 she started taking a role of Production Designer and Art Director for Independent Film Productions and Commercials. She worked at I.A.T.S.E Local 873 as Motion Picture Technician in Scenic Painting & Set Decorating Department. In 2018 she joined Directors Guild of Canada and works as a Set Designer.
She is a multimedia designer with excellent rendering and presentation skills, who brings a creative approach to all aspects of good design. She posses exceptional strong sense of aesthetics, attention to details. Her expertise covers but not limits to Conceptual Interior Design, Visual Direction, Staging, Decor, Architectural Design, Renderings, Film, Fine Art and Photography.
